LONDON — Arumeru West Member of Parliament, Dr Johannes Lembulung Lukumay, has stepped up efforts to mobilise international investment for Tanzania's health and education sectors after holding high-level talks with a key stakeholder of NEPT-iNGO in London, the United Kingdom, on Monday.
The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration aimed at facilitating investment in health and education projects that are expected to benefit communities across the Arusha Region, with Arumeru West identified among the priority areas for implementation.
According to information released after the meeting, the proposed partnership seeks to attract development support that will improve access to quality healthcare and education, particularly in underserved communities where investment in social infrastructure remains critical.
The initiative forms part of wider efforts to engage international development partners in supporting sustainable community development and improving the delivery of essential public services.
If the planned partnership is successfully implemented, it is expected to unlock new opportunities to enhance healthcare services, strengthen educational facilities and improve the livelihoods of thousands of residents in Arumeru West and the wider Arusha Region.
