LUKUMAY MOURNS LEMA, SIGNS CONDOLENCE BOOK

WEST MP Dr Johannes Lembulung Lukumay has joined mourners in paying tribute to the late SAFINA Radio founder Dr Daniel Lema, describing his death as a loss to the community.

Dr Lukumay signed the condolence book on Saturday, September 26, 2026, during a visit to the late Dr Lema’s family home in Kaloleni, Arusha City, where he joined relatives, leaders and other mourners in offering condolences.

The legislator is known for reaching out to people from different sections of society during times of grief and hardship, offering comfort and support to bereaved families.

Dr Lema died on September 23, 2026, at Selian Hospital (ALMC) in Arusha.

He dedicated much of his life to establishing and developing SAFINA Radio, a faith-based station based in Kaloleni that has provided religious programming and spiritual communication to listeners in Arusha and beyond.

His death has drawn mourners from different walks of life who have continued to visit the family and pay tribute to his contribution to religious broadcasting and the wider community.
