The event, held at his residence in Kiranyi Ward, brought together the children and various stakeholders in a warm and joyful atmosphere.

The occasion, marked by a spirit of love and generosity, formed part of Dr. Lukumay’s expression of gratitude to God and his enduring commitment to supporting vulnerable groups within society.

“I thank Almighty God for granting us the opportunity to gather here today. I also commend our President, Samia Suluhu Hassan, for her continued efforts to improve healthcare services for citizens, particularly for children with special needs,” Dr. Lukumay stated.

He further acknowledged the vital role played by his family in his political and social journey, expressing special appreciation to his wife for her moral and spiritual support, which he said strengthens his ability to serve the public effectively.

Dr. Lukumay also extended his gratitude to religious leaders and members of the community for their prayers and cooperation, noting that their support enhances his capacity to serve both his constituents and the nation at large.

Highlighting the significance of the event, he described it as a gesture of love and encouragement to orphaned children, emphasizing the importance of providing them with proper care, support, and a conducive environment to help them achieve their aspirations.

Caretakers from the orphanage expressed sincere appreciation for the initiative, noting that it had brought joy and renewed hope to the children. The children themselves actively participated in songs, games, and various forms of entertainment, expressing their gratitude to the MP and his family for their kindness and hospitality.

In his concluding remarks, Dr. Lukumay reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with various stakeholders to improve the lives of orphans and other vulnerable groups.
